Overview

Restoration Druid heals through sustained heal-over-time effects rather than large direct casts. You keep Rejuvenation and Lifebloom rolling and let them tick, which makes the spec extremely mobile and very efficient — but poor at fixing someone who is about to die right now.

How this spec operates

  • Healing is HoT-driven — Rejuvenation, Lifebloom, and Wild Growth do the work over time.
  • Ramp Rejuvenation before scheduled damage — dots applied after the hit miss most of their value.
  • Swiftmend is your emergency button — lean on HoTs for everything else.
  • Flourish extends every HoT already out — press after the ramp, not before.
  • Near-total mobility while healing — your rot keeps ticking while you dodge mechanics.

Strengths & weaknesses

Strengths
Weaknesses
  • Excellent efficiency and sustained throughput
  • Almost entirely mobile — healing continues while you move
  • Strong utility including battle resurrection and Innervate
  • Poor emergency single-target healing
  • Needs ramp time before heavy damage
  • Weak if forced to heal reactively from low health

Damage while healing

Priority order

Left to right — use the first ability that is ready. Detailed notes for each step are below.

  1. 1
Moonfire and Sunfire on the boss during quiet stretches.
  2. 2
Wrath as filler when nothing needs healing.

Small, but it adds up over a long fight and costs you nothing when healing is calm.
