Hailburst / Ice Stacking
Ice spawns from Hailburst; grouped baiting concentrates ice in one spot.
Stay grouped to bait Hailburst ice in one corner or edge, then rotate around the room as ice fills. Do not spread ice across the entire arena.

Ruby Life Pools is a three-boss Dragonflight dungeon in The Waking Shores with the shortest timer in Season 2 at 28 minutes. Fire and frost mechanics, tight trash pacing, and the Kyrakka and Erkhart duo finale make this the most timer-punitive key in the pool.
Heavy fire damage on random players — interrupt every cast.
Raid-wide fire damage channel — never let this complete.
Interrupt random target fire damage.
Tank damage — spare interrupts on final trash.
CC the channel — heavy tank damage.
A frost drake who stacks Hailburst ice in one spot, channels Chillstorm on a player, and shields with Ice Bulwark at 66% and 33% while Awaken Whelps spawn. Interrupt Frigid Shard and break the shield fast.
Pull to win — follow each phase in order every time the loop repeats.
Group bait Hailburst in one spot. Interrupt Frigid Shard on tank.
Stay grouped to bait Hailburst ice in one corner or edge of the arena — do not spread ice across the entire floor. Interrupt Frigid Shard on the tank every cast. Tank picks up Infused Whelps instantly at 66% and 33%.
Fixated player runs away from group. Use defensives against pull-in.
If targeted by Chillstorm, run away from the group immediately — do not bring the pull-in through the stack. Use a personal defensive or ask for a heal absorb. Healers pre-hot the target before pull-in lands.
Kill Awaken Whelps. Break Ice Bulwark fast to stop Frost Overload.
At 66% and 33%, kill Awaken Whelps first, then burn Ice Bulwark immediately with DPS cooldowns. Frost Overload channels group damage until the shield breaks — slow breaks cost you timer and healing. Save burst for these breakpoints.
Rotate around room as ice fills. Keep one clean arc for movement.
As ice fills the arena, rotate around the room as a unit keeping one clean arc for movement. Tank faces Melidrussa away from the ice stack for Chillstorm pull-in direction. Dispel chill stacks when players cross ice patches.
Cycle ice stacking, Chillstorm kiting, and shield breaks until she dies.
Loop Hailburst bait, Chillstorm kiting, and bulwark breaks until Melidrussa dies. Spreading ice or ignoring Ice Bulwark while shielded is the primary wipe cause. Living whelps during Overload add damage you cannot heal through.
