Overview
Destruction is the most straightforward of the three and the easiest to play well under pressure. You keep Immolate rolling, generate shards through Conflagrate and Incinerate, and dump them into Chaos Bolt. The skill is in shard banking — arriving at a burst window with a full bar rather than trickling casts out as you earn them.
How this spec operates
- Soul Shards bank for
Chaos Bolt — arrive at burst windows with a full bar. - Keep
Immolate up — it drives shard generation through 
Conflagrate. - Conflagrate on cooldown, holding a charge for movement.
Havoc duplicates ST damage on two-target — effectively never idle on cleave.- AoE spends shards on
Rain of Fire from three targets up instead of Chaos Bolt.

- Enormous single-target burst you can hold and release on demand
- Simple, forgiving priority that holds up under mechanical pressure
- Rain of Fire is excellent sustained area damage
- Very cast-heavy — movement is a real damage loss
- Weak damage while ramping if you start from an empty shard bar
- Little to press when out of shards and moving
