Kotaku Interview on Forever.
Kotaku interviewed Blizzard at BlizzCon 2026, where they revealed that there are no summoning stones and some changes to the costs of mounts in WoW: Forever. They also revealed that player vs player (PvP) will have a new progression system!.
In World of Warcraft: Forever, each patch cycle will have a new 14-rank Honor track that players can progress through. Honor will be granted by participating in Battlegrounds and completing player vs player (PvP)-related content. Players will earn rewards, cosmetic rewards, and player vs player (PvP) armor with stats on it by progressing through it.
Tim Jones also discussed how there are new battlegrounds, including one named Darkspear Islands. According to the Kotaku article, he mentions "battlegrounds," and not "battleground", so there could be more than one new battleground coming to WoW: Forever!.
